2009-2016
My professional journey began in 2009 when I discovered
the captivating process of creating Reborn dolls.
As a makeup artist, I was drawn to the Special FX techniques and eager to learn more. After my first doll sold for a remarkable $600 at an eBay auction, I knew I had a talent worth pursuing. I began creating incredibly lifelike Reborn dolls, inspired by my fascination with Victorian Gothic and the early 1900s. Soon, I developed my signature "Dark & Twisty" series, featuring hauntingly beautiful dolls that were entirely unique in the market. Though my particular style initially drew criticism, I remained committed to my vision and built a thriving career. My Dark & Twisty series ranged from vampires, zombies, and movie characters to Harajuku-inspired dolls, each with handmade, one-of-a-kind costumes. My dolls now reside in private collections across the globe, with some selling for upwards of $10,000.
In 2016, after undergoing brain surgery, I took a hiatus from Reborn dolls to focus on my Oddly Sweet Dolls and Abstract paintings. While I am now coming out of retirement, I am proud of the dolls I've created over the years. The images below represent only a small portion of my portfolio, but I hope you enjoy exploring my work.
